Here are some select shots from Calvin’s Spring 2016 soccer.
We added a hitch to Calvin’s Gator… now he can pull a wagon around the yard.
Today we went to Islandwood for a garden tour, followed by an art project where we painted and pressed objects we found in the garden. Pretty cool stuff.
Some really interesting ice crystal formations in the garden soil. I presume it has something to do will all the freezing nights and just-above-freezing days we’ve been having lately.
More images in our SmugMug gallery as well as a brief snow video.
We visited Battle Point Park today to feed the ducks, only to discover that their pond was mostly frozen over (we’ve had some cold weather this week). Quite amusing watching them land on the ice, and slide around trying to get bits of bread.
A gift from Calvin’s buddy Julian… A dinosaur fossil kit. Buried inside this brick of clay soil are 3 genuine dinosaur fossils. Careful extracting is required.
A gift from Aunt Julia… Calvin breaks open some fantastic geodes.
